Pastel One

Last Saturday, I watched the Saturday Group teach kids the basics of painting with oil pastels. This is my first attempt at using oil pastels and illustrates why the enemy of good is better and why oil pastels take some getting used to.

    Bela, that's exactly what I am with oil pastels. I should have done the center first before the air. After the hair, black just smudged over the other colors.

    Eastcoastlife, I don't think what I did can be classified as a painting. A juvenile attempt at one, probably!
