I wonder why a smile is called sheepish. Do you know why?

    I like that photo ... very cool :-)

    Many, many years ago at school, I recall being asked by the teacher to look up the definition and origin of sheepiness.

    IIRC ... the term has been around for quite awhile. It can been being like a group of sheep ...timid and bashful.

    Or, it can refer to the type of smile someone gives when making a mistake or being caught doing something they really shouldn't be doing. Sort of embarrassed but 'oh well' type thing..

    Not the 'whitest' sheep but the most appropriate for the theme. Sheepish smile-true I think it comes with being timid...:D
