Perhaps the quickest way to appreciate the world in costumes is at Disneyland's It's A Small World. Many don't like the ride because it's slow and old fashioned but it's actually quite educational.

When It Rains...

...Hong Kong Disneyland rolls out the Rainy Day Express carrying the characters in its compartments. Instead of the usual dancing on the streets, they just dance around the compartment and wave to the parade viewers. We experienced this in lieu of the usual parade when our visit was marred by a downpour. At least, we got to see Plan B.
