Paano nyo ba sinasalubong ang bagong taon? Nagpapaputok ba kayo o nagsisindi ng fireworks? Dati rati, mahilig ding magpaputok ang tatay ko at nagpagawa pa sya ng kanyon para doon. Pero pinakiusapan namin siya kaya tumigil na. Baka kasi mapano ang tenga nya o maputukan kung saan. Ngayon, kuntento na syang silipin sa bintana ang fireworks ng kapitbahay.
How do you welcome the new year? Do you use firecrackers or fireworks? In the past, my dad loved firecrackers and even had a cannon custom made for that purpose. But we asked him to stop so he did. We were worried about its effects on his hearing or a possible firecracker related injury. Now he's content with watching our neighbors' fireworks display from the window.
