I got this toy from a Happy Meal during a visit to the US in 2003. While I've gotten rid of toys I've collected from kiddie meals, I kept this one because it looks really good. Now I find that they make good photography subjects so I'm starting to collect them again.
This photo illustrates the different layers of a photograph: background (leaves), middleground (doll) and foreground (her hand).

Religious Art

St. Dominic, originally uploaded by Em Dy.
The Philippines is a predominantly Catholic country. Religious artifacts and statues are but a few examples of public art. This is a photo of a life-sized statue of St. Dominic in a garden at Caleruega, a place of meditation.
Taken January 2008 at Caleruega in Batangas, Philippines
