"Ayaw ko", ang sabi ko nung inalok ng animal trainer sa akin ang ahas. Ang sabi niya, "Para may souvenir photo ka kasama yung ahas". Ang sabi ko, "Ok lang. Pwede bang kuhanan na lang kita ng litrato?" Ayaw ko ngang hawakan yung ahas. Bukod sa takot ako, may bayad pa ang pagpapalitrato kasama ang ahas. Buti na lang pumayag siyang magpalitrato ng walang bayad.

"No", I said when the animal trainer offered the snake to me. She said, "So that you'll have a souvenir photo with the snake". I said, " Never mind, I'll just take your picture if it's alright with you." I didn't want to do it. Aside from fear, I didn't want to pay the fee for the photo opportunity. It's a good thing she agreed to have her photo taken without a fee.

Isa sa mga masarap gawin tuwing taginit ay maligo sa dagat. Gustong gusto ito ng mga bata. Kaya lang, di pwedeng wala silang kasama. Matiyagang nagbabantay ang inang ito habang nagkakatuwaan ang mga anak niyang lumangoy habang ang bunso ay tulog sa kanyang mga balikat. Di natatapos ang tungkulin ng isang ina pero ginagawa niya ang mga ito ng bukal sa kalooban.

One of the nicest things to do during summer is to go to the beach and swim. Children love this activity. But they cannot be left unsupervised. This mother patiently watches over her older children having fun swimming while the youngest is in her arms asleep. A mother's work is never done but she continues to do her duties from the heart.

I chanced upon this stall selling antique timepieces and other items. I knew right away that this would be a good contribution to the hunt. I processed the photo in sepia to give it an element of time.

These jesters gamely posed for me when I asked to take their picture. Not just once but several times. In different poses too. They sure brightened up my day!

A clown is commonly illustrated as having two faces: happy and sad. This one sports a happy face.

Lesson learned: Remember always to ask your subject's permission before taking his photograph. And in the search for good pictures, never be afraid to ask.
