Red and Old

Christ Church Melaka, originally uploaded by Em Dy.

The Christ Church of Malacca, built in the 1700s, is but one of the red buildings in the square. It is a reminder of the city's Dutch history which goes back to the 1400s.

I never thought of the Dutch going much beyond Indonesia. The church and landscaping are stunning! Happy Ruby Tuesday!
