I got this toy from a Happy Meal during a visit to the US in 2003. While I've gotten rid of toys I've collected from kiddie meals, I kept this one because it looks really good. Now I find that they make good photography subjects so I'm starting to collect them again.

These carolers were given to me one Christmas. Since then, we've always used them as one of our decorations during the season.

Ang imahe ng Sto. Nino de Cebu ay nagsimula bilang regalo ni Magellan kay Reyna Juana bilang paggunita sa kanyang binyag. Nawala ito ngunit natagpuang nakaligtas sa sunog. Ito ang itinuturing na pinakamatandang religious relic sa bansa. Maraming deboto ang bumibisita dito ng regular.

The image of the Sto Nino de Cebu started as a gift from Magellan to Queen Juana on the occasion of her baptism. This was later lost but was found unaffected by fire. It is considered as the oldest religious relic in the country. Many devotees visit regularly.
