Jeepney Park

Jeepney Park, originally uploaded by Em Dy.

Wonder how most Filipinos get from one destination to another? The jeepney is the most popular form of public transportation. And as you see in the photo, we even have a jeepney park where people line up for these vehicles, sometimes for an hour or longer.

Jeepney is part of the Filipino culture already. In fact, they made it more interesting by installing novelty horns. (annoying to some though) if you want to hear some of their weird sounding horns, go to http://www.onehundredjeepneysounds.com/
