Nothing beats Philippine mangoes. I've attended the Festival of Mangoes last year (in UAE). They have presented at least 100 varieties from different countries and none got me. At most, only the green mangoes from Thailand which tasted like manggang kalabaw. Unfortunately, no mangoes from the Philippines were present in the Fest.

I have never had the real taste of Phil mango since I left PI. Not even those mangoes labeled Philippine mango dont have a taste of the real thing.

That is wild! It's like sculpture.
Yum!! I remember cutting the mangoes when I was younger in this small squares too :)

It's nice to see real fruit when we're heading into winter and not likely to get anything good for ages.

Mmmm! I love eating them that way too. But sometimes when I see how ripe they are, I have no patience in cubing them anymore! I just dig in!
Our mangoes are the best in the world. Unfortunately, it's hard to find them in my neck of the woods.
