Waiting for the Sun to Set

Sunset, originally uploaded by Em Dy.

From Kuala Lumpur, we traveled to Kuala Selangor to see the fireflies. En route, we saw some monkeys, a lighthouse and a temple. Dinner was at a seafood restaurant with a view. This one. We stayed until it was dark before heading out. The perk of the wait was watching the sun set and taking photographs.

Lesson learned: Be prepared to wait to get awesome pictures.

Taken in May 2007 from a restaurant in Kuala Selangor.

Hi Em,

Nice shot of the sunset. I hope you won't mind if I ask for your advice on something. How do you add a watermark on your photos? I plan to do the same with mine and I'm at a loss on how to proceed. Any bit of info would be of help. Thanks a lot in advance. :)

Hey buddy. I use Picnik. It's free, easy to use. You can edit and add shapes, text. After you've added the text, just manipulate the fade button until you get what you please. If you want more features, they have a premium service. But the basic package is good enough for me.
