Biscocho

Biscocho, originally uploaded by Em Dy.

Whoever thought that all biscocho are hard obviously has not tasted Pasuquin biscocho. This was highly recommended to us by Dr. Joven Cuanang of Sitio Remedios. We were glad to have stopped at Pasuqun Bakery. The biscocho is available two ways: soft and toasted. The soft we devoured right away - with butter and jam and mango juice on the side once we were back at the resort. The toasted one we brought for friends back home. Yummy!

Taken April 2008 in Ilocos.

I always thought of biscocho as hard and powdery, almost like a hard bicuit. I would have never thought these to be biscocho. They look delicious! ~JMom
