Old Country

Calle Crisologo, originally uploaded by Em Dy.

Vigan is where the Philippines of old is very much preserved. It's nice to get out of the city once in a while and to get in touch with history.

Taken April 2008 in Vigan, Ilocos

Very beautiful shot, Em.

"It's nice to get out of the city once in a while and to get in touch with history." - This is so true and this is one of my regrets in life. For lack of time and financial resources, I wasn't able to see a lot of my country during the time that I lived there.

But now that I could afford to take some trips, my job and career prevent me from doing so. Sigh.

Paqnaderos, thanks. Like you, I haven't visited a lot of the Philippines. I wish I could.

Jamie, thanks.

Pixel Minded, hey teammate. I wish you can pay Ilocos a visit one of these days.
