I remember this as a particularly hot day. S2 and I had to cool off at a convenience stop after shooting pictures and attempting to climb the steps leading to the Batu Caves. Even the Giant Buddha was not spared from the sun. On closer inspection, you can see the rays of light striking this statue which guards the entrance to the cave.
This photo is also a good example of scale.
Taken May 2007 at the Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur.

I thank for the visit and the comment!
Very good your blog, with splendidly posts, beautiful photographs and marvellous comments!
Looks very graceful! Thanks for stopping by :)
did you go up the staircase this time? :)
good scaling. you can still enhance the photo with photoshop if you like. :)
Kostas and Connie, thanks for the visit too.
Kayers, only about 17 steps. There were monkeys all around plus I had cramps the day before after walking around the butterfly and bird parks and orchid garden. I'm not really into Photoshop though I use Picnik to auto fix, crop, add text. Beyond that, no more. I'm a bit of a purist but not entirely.
Wow, that's enormous! :-)
