There is a growing backlash in the US against the use of bottled water. Your photo provides an example of the potential environmental harm these plastic bottles pose.

In a lot of places, especially in the industrialized world, tap water is quite clean and safe to drink. For people in those places, they should try to minimize or eliminate the consumption of bottled water.

Deb, that's the idea.

Jenn, thanks.

Panaderos, I'm also not a big fan of bottled water. I only drink it when I'm not sure about the safety of tap water. My reason however is not really environmentally influenced. I just think bottled water is too expensive. I also think not all bottled water, in these parts, are safe. I usually only drink the known brands.

Meeya, they used it for store display. I hope when they change displays, they'd dispose of the bottles properly.

Neen, thanks.

Cynthia blue, me too.

That sure is a lot of plastic! I'll bet somebody has to spend a lot of time keeping them looking that neat.

I really like the textures in that photo.
It's also an interesting statement for Earth Day. Thanks for sharing.

A great shot for an equally great theme.

Daisy, and I just took a picture of the top part. This one is almost from floor to ceiling.

Catsynth, happy Earth day.

Princess, thanks!
